Its physicians view disease as physical expressions of an imbalance within the body. A holistic assessment followed by the use of acupuncture, herbs, cupping or moxabution can heal by restoring the underlying energy balance in a sustaining manner. Ailments treated cover a wide spectrum from the physiological to the psychological, acute as well as chronic. Spiritual Direction, is a time-honored practice in religious traditions to be with people as they seek clearness, deepen their relationship with God/Light, and discern how to live their lives from this foundation. By listening and recflecting back, the director (ie. mentor, companion) helps the directee to live into the wholeness of who he or she is. |
Kwang-hee Park, a native of Korea and California licensed acupuncturist, received her Oriental Medicine Doctorate from Southbaylo University, Anaheim, where she is an adjunct professor for psychology and evidence-based research. She earned a PhD in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Claremont School of Theology, and a Master of Divinity degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary. Together with her husband, she is Resident Friend at Orange Grove Quaker Meeting in Pasadena. Appointments Call or email for an appointment.
